Miller Systems, Inc. is a small IT and business consulting firm based in the Chicago area. We have successfully worked on dozens of development projects both on-site and remotely, using our Web-based teleconferencing tools and email. We have developed many types of customized systems for over 20 years, using Visual Basic, .NET, SQL Server, Access, and other tools as well. In addition, we have an extensive base of pre-tested code that we apply when appropriate. We can start quickly, and devote whatever time is necessary to getting this project done on time. We can work with existing code, and enhance it using our unique best practices and existing pre-tested code when appropriate. We are happy to work with line or IT managers, or we can work directly with our client's management team (such as the President, CFO, VP Sales, etc.) when appropriate to help our clients meet their business goals. The best reason to use our firm is our approach to project management. Our philosophy is to deliver early, and to deliver often. Fast turnaround enables us to build trust, and correct small problems at an early stage before they become big problems (and to get paid faster too :-). For remote clients, we use an internet-based online demonstration tool, to give the users an actual demonstration of the system. As our standard policy, we agree to keep all client information confidential, and also agree that the client, who is paying for development, is entitled to retain ownership of the resulting software, web pages, and all other work product.
