Odyssey Financial Technologies, a global provider of front- and middle-office software for the Private Banking, Private Wealth Management and Asset Management industries, is pleased to announce that it officially opened its new office in Glasgow on the 1st of March. The new office, which is dedicated to Odyssey’s private wealth management products, Triple’A Plus™ and WealthManager™, greatly extends the company’s development capacities.

Complementing the three main development centres in London, Lausanne and Toronto, this fourth centre will closely analyse the products to leverage their strengths and best-of-breed functionality. The first development projects will improve automatic testing procedures and increase Odyssey’s technological competence by porting its products to new platforms.

The centre will employ up to 20 software developers and testers by the end of April with a potential increase if the market developments are positive.

Greg Conley, Odyssey Financial Technologies’ CEO, comments, “We are excited about the opening of our new Development Centre in Glasgow, which marks a significant step in Odyssey’s expansion. It will allow us to optimize the amount of high quality development resources, decrease our time to market for product improvements and further improve the competitive positioning of Odyssey.”

Odyssey selected Scotland as the location for its new Centre of Excellence for Software Development on the strength of its financial services community and skilled workforce. Scottish Development International played a key role in the successful opening by providing training and recruitment grants.
