DCI, a provider of full-service bank technology and processing solutions to the financial industry, announced the company’s support of the Central Kansas Polio Survivors Support Group with a corporate donation of $4,000.

The contribution was made, in part, to help the group produce their documentary “Epidemic! Survivors’ Spirit.” The hour-long film will provide historical insight into the reaction of local communities and the nation during the polio epidemic.

“DCI is proud to support this group and their documentary project,” said John Jones, President and CEO of DCI. “Polio touched thousands of American lives, many here in our community. This group provides an inspirational message to all people who face daily challenges.”

The Central Kansas Polio Survivors Support Group was formed in 2006 to provide help to polio survivors and raise awareness of post-polio syndrome and the importance of vaccinations.

Added Jones, “Being a supportive member of the community is a tradition for DCI and a natural extension of our business principals. DCI is owned by many of our customers and we share a close relationship of cooperation and long term commitment to their well-being.”
